Make your Career pathway with help from the finest immigration Pathways – Canada Express Entry Stream

One of the fastest ways to relocate to Canada is through their Express Entry Program. This program is defined for all those skilled professionals and business investors intending to relocate to Canada with an intention to contribute actively to the economy of Canada.

As initial steps, you will need to create a profile in the Express Entry Pool. From this pool, profiles will be chosen for multiple pathways as the need would be. This selection will be based on the score that each profile earns in the Express Entry system and the subsequent ranking for the profiles. Initially, it would require that the aspirant applicant evaluate his or her profile. For the same, it is advisable to take guidance from the right immigration firm who are both experienced and knowledgeable in the field. It is important that the immigration firm is registered with the ICCRC. Canada Skilled migration is one of the top immigration programs across the globe which attracts maximum professionals seeking relocation to Canada.

There are few key documents that the applicant needs to provide while creating the profile in the Express Entry system

1.       Passport or travel document – Passport is the proof of the applicant’s legal citizenship in a country. It facilitates international travel for the holder. This also means that the holder is allowed to travel across the globe by his country. It is a powerful document. Few countries allow dual citizenship, while countries like India allow only single citizenship. Passport will carry all the visa stampings that the applicant traveled.

2.       Language  test Results – The applicant will need to take up the IELTS or equivalent test that would help him or her gain a minimum score of 5 and above in each of the bands. In the current competition, to stay in the run, it would require the aspirant to earn a score that is 7 and above to qualify for any pathway possible.

3.       Education credentials assessment document – Education credential assessment is used by the Canada immigration authorities to verify the foreign degrees that the aspirant earned. This document should accompany the other documents when creating the profile in the Express Entry system. This document will help the immigration authorities to assess whether the aspirant needs a job or a license to practice.

The above three documents are mandatory at the time of creation of profile in the Express Entry system. The aspirant can submit an Expression of Interest in case he intends to relocate to particular provinces.

Once the profile is shortlisted, the aspirant will receive an Invitation to Apply for the program. The applicant will then proceed to apply for that particular program for which his profile has been shortlisted.

Profiles from the Express Entry pool are shortlisted for provincial nominee program, for Canada Experience Class Program and for Canada Skilled Immigration program. The profiles are scrutinized based on the below 5 factors –

1.       Age of the applicant

2.       Language ability

3.       Work or business experience

4.       Education qualification

5.       Adaptability.

Although 67 is the minimum points required for one to qualify for the program, it would require that the aspirant earns more than this to stay in the competition. The aspirant will need to work around his factors to ensure he be able to achieve the target.

Each of the factor has a score range. If the applicant is aged anywhere between 25 and 35 years, he would get the maximum points allotted for this factor. If he is below 25 or above 40, his points for this factor would reduce. Similar is the case for Language ability. The aspirant can earn upto 28 points with this factor alone. In the recent times, Canada has declared that they would be providing extra points for those who have knowledge in a second language. The need could be different for Provincial Nominee Program and for other programs.

With Education factor, the aspirant will be able to earn a maximum of 25 points. The post-graduates and Phd holders get the most points. With help of experience, one can earn another 15 points depending on the kind of domain experience they show. Although 1 to 2 years is the mandatory experience required for the program, it would be beneficial if the aspirant can show 4 to 5 years of work experience to earn 13 and more points through this factor.

If you are Canada business investor aspirant, then your profile will be evaluated based on your business experience.

The dependents of the aspirants can apply for the program along with the main aspirant and the score of the spouse could help the aspirant gain more points.

Another major factor which will be considered is the bank balance of the aspirant. He or she will need to show a stipulated balance to prove that they can handle themselves when in Canada, without having to depend on the public funds in Canada.

It is highly safe to take help from an Immigration firm while making the relocation decision.
